The prompt for today's post is favourite books/movies/podcasts/shows. I decided to break it down to two of each of those things along with a bonus, Twitter follows. Twitter is another source of my entertainment and keeps with the media type theme. It's kind of hard to choose favourites of anything, so I consider them ones that I are top of mind and that I would rank high on any list (if ranking is possible).
Books
1. The Way the Crow Flies by Ann-Marie MacDonald. I have this book on my shelf but I have never been able to read it again, it is too heartbreaking and I never feel like being that depressed again. That being said, it is a beautifully written book and deserves a read. Maybe someday I'll pick it up again.
2.
Movies
3. Almost Famous - I have been listening to this soundtrack and want to watch this one again soon. So many great things in this movie.
4. The Social Network - This is a movie that I could watch anytime.
Podcasts
5. The Bridge - Peter Mansbridge's Election podcast. Check back here tomorrow when I will tell you my personal connection to this podcast.
6. Armchair Expert - This is Dax Shepherd's podcast and I will download a couple of episodes to listen to on the subway when I am between books.
Shows
7. The Office - This is a standard that we have been rewatching and I'm now realizing just how good it was.
8. Downton Abbey - I've watched this series twice and can't wait to see the movie. Hopefully I can get to see it while it is still in theatres.
Twitter Follows
9. @jodiesjumpsuit - West Toronto mom with lots of insightful and funny comments about current events. (that is a terribly underwhelming description, just trust me on it)
10. @gabrielleunion - I always liked her as an actress and now she's married to Dwayne Wade (he did well!). She also retweets some great content.

Just saw the Downton Abbey movie. I enjoyed it. Are you watching DWTS? Kate Flannery is on it and dancing quite well!
