Here are a couple of other ideas I've seen lately. <br />In a post by Obama he mentioned how important it is to vote in local elections because in the United States police chief's are often appointed by the mayor. And district or state attorneys are involved in how justice is served. These are elected positions and apparently there is often low voter turnout, especially among the young people. <br />In a list of 75 things to do Corinne Shutack suggested to google to see if your local police department uses body-worn cameras and if they use evidence-based police de-escalation trainings.
