I'm from Ontario (the Holland Marsh--just north of Toronto), but have lived in Montreal, Ottawa, etc., and now live in Saskatoon. It's, uh, fresh here. I've been running every day with a neighbour here since last March. I used to be an avid runner, and trained seriously when I lived in Ottawa. Now I just jog. But it's great getting out every day, and it's surprising how getting out in the colder temps makes me feel better. We'll run in up to -30 or so (after that lung frostbite can become an issue). Just layer up and get out! I don't think you'll regret it :)wilmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13502440065480426868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9139720102311026587.post-40834570832661528522021-01-28T09:05:15.122-05:002021-01-28T09:05:15.122-05:00This is really interesting as most of the books I ...This is really interesting as most of the books I see about the topic have to do with America!Dara @ Not In Jerseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16004533157267233128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9139720102311026587.post-31145869588084008452021-01-28T06:27:46.564-05:002021-01-28T06:27:46.564-05:00I picked this one up after Christmas and am planni...I picked this one up after Christmas and am planning on reading it during my readathon weekend in February. I thought it was really important to read a Canadian book on the topic of racism because it's so easy, as Canadians, to point fingers at The States and think "That doesn't happen here." And we're wrong about that.Natashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16350800415772519653noreply@blogger.com
