The airport without kids. I of course love travelling with my family, but the regular airport seems like luxury when you are there without children. I like to go extra early just so I can get a coffee, drink it at a normal pace, read a book, and sit still for awhile. So much less hectic and it is nice.
Buying lots of snacks. When I'm on vacation, I am all for eating whatever I want so I will buy snacks wherever I go. I especially hate being hungry when touring around so I keep snacks at the ready.
Hotel rooms. This is another great thing to enjoy without kids. Someone to make my bed and clean my room, it's heaven.
Talking to other travellers. I am not usually one to talk to strangers, but when waiting in line for a museum or attraction, or while sitting at a bar waiting for a table, I like to strike up a conversation with other people to get some suggestions on what we should be doing.
