We had a nice weekend with a mix of relaxation and being productive. On Friday night we watched Amazing Race and Canada's Ultimate Challenge, the shows we watch as a family.
It was an F1 weekend so we were up early and watched the recorded qualifying session. We got our new coffee grinder the day before so it was our first morning trying it out, was think it was better than normal. We did some tidying up and Q and I made banana chocolate chip muffins. A double batch so we could get regular sized ones and mini ones.
Our finished products.
Dave took E out to Costco, and Q and I walked to the pizza place to get some lunch. It was raining but still nice to get outside for some fresh air.
He had friends coming over in the afternoon and then E was going to the movies with his friends.
On Sunday we went to church, where we sang a lovely song. You can see us here, starting at the about the 26 minute mark. When we got home, I wanted to walk up the street to get a few this from the produce store. I talked E into coming with me and I took him to the same pizza place as the day before so he could get his lunch there.
Meanwhile Q and Dave were working on the car. They were replacing the seal around the sunroof. It was another successful car repair project.
We had a delicious steak dinner and finally started watching Adolescence after the kids went to bed.
That sounds like a lovely weekend.
