This weekend we attended Q's last t-ball tournament. This time we were headed to Dundas, which is in the Hamilton area. We had to take two cars so Dave and Q went to the field while E and I went to the hotel to check in and then get some dinner. McDonalds had these little paper hats and E made me put it on.
I didn't take any photos at the first game, it was a pretty easy win. Q had a triple.
When we got back to the hotel there was a bunny and E was trying to make friends with it.
Q and I were up the earliest the next day and went downstairs for the breakfast. The hotel had a nice little patio so we ate out there.
Our first game wasn't until 1:00 so there was lots of time for the kids to swim, and we could grab some lunch before the game.
Then time to warm up.
The 1:00 game was also a fairly easy win. We went over to Shawn and Ed Brewing Co for some food and a break. We found this gem at last year's tournament and it was another hit.
The second game of the day ended in a loss unfortunately. We had a team dinner booked at Turtle Jack's across from the hotel. And we continued the parent party in the lobby after we got back. Way too much wine was consumed by some of us and the next morning was a little rough.
There were two games that day - the playoff at 12:00 and then after we won that, the championship game at 4:00. E and I had to leave at 12:30 so he could go to overnight camp. We were sad to be leaving and missing out on the last two games.
My dad was in town and we got a quick photo with E before he left.
Ready for his week. The last week of the summer at camp is for just teenagers.
E in his bunk. However, he ended up switching cabins to be with his buddy. And they did that after I left, so I don't actually know what his bunk looks like. But I think it worked out better to be with his friend. It was me that forgot to put in the cabin mate request (oops!).
I stopped in at Rosseau Pizzeria to get a pizza to eat in the car on the way home. This is a beautiful location and I can't wait to eat here someday.
Meanwhile the t-ball tournament was wrapping up.

Q got player of the game and was bestowed the racoon hat and tail (because we are the Trash Pandas).
After being on the road for several hours to get to camp and back, I was happy to be home! Summer is wrapping up, that is for sure.
