Camping Food Part 2

We are heading out to camp again this weekend.  Our last trip was pretty successful although we didn't end up making the fire baked apples.  We'll try again this time, and bonus, I already have the brown sugar and cinnamon mixed up and ready to go.

We'll be there for an extra night so we needed a few more ideas for supper.  Earlier in the week I made up a marinade and cut up some pork chops. I used this recipe.  I will then put the meat and vegetables on the skewers and wrap up to take with and they will be all ready to grill when we get there.

On Friday night, we will try making nachos in our cast iron pan.  We'll make our nachos the same way as we always do (ground beef, tomatoes, peppers, cheese, with salsa and sour cream on the side), but I'm assuming since they will be made over the fire, they will taste way better.

Along with our standards (pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, and spider dogs) we should be all set.

From our last trip.  We're going with different people to a different park this time.  Can't wait.
