Fall Food Goals

In July, I posted about my Summer Food Goals.  October seemed like a whirlwind for me with our trip, work and E's birthday.  It is mid-November and even though I'm starting to think about Christmas, fall is only halfway through.  There are a few more fall things I'd like to make before diving straight into the holiday foods.

Chili and Tea Biscuits - I shared this recipe here.  So tasty and comforting after a long day of being outside in the cold.

Pumpkin Biscotti - I pinned this recipe a few weeks ago.  I have been wanting to try making biscotti for awhile now.  I'll pick up a can of pumpkin and try these ones.

Sausages and German Potato Salad - I guess I missed Oktoberfest but this is still a great meal to eat while it's still fall.  The salad recipe can be found here and we will pick up some sausages from our butcher.

French Onion Soup - We use Julia Child's recipe.  I love making this on a weekend evening when it is getting dark earlier and I can spend the time it takes to cook the onions properly for this soup.  We need to get a few extra oven safe bowls so we can make more than two servings at a time.

Salted Caramel Brownies - I made these last year for the first time and they were a real treat.  I love the Salted Caramel Latte at Starbucks and this is an even better variation on that theme.
