Saint Patrick's Day was a bit tamer than in years past. With it falling on a Monday, the best I could do was a Guinness between work and dinner. It was delicious.
E completed his Bronze Medallion for swimming and his First Aid certificate on Monday. Well done! He is registered to do the Bronze Cross course with his friends starting in a couple of weeks.
Some signs of spring outside of our house.
Q and his stuffies, ready for bed.
E got his grad photos back this week. He looks good!
We celebrated Dave's birthday yesterday. We went out for dinner at Patois, a Jamaican Chinese fusion restaurant. Then home for gifts and ice cream cake. A successful birthday all around.
Well done to E with the swimming and First Aid certificate and how lovely to see some signs of spring.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Dave! What a lovely celebration.
That looks like a wonderful birthday celebration. E looks so grown up in his grad photos!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to E for completing his Bronze Medallion and First Aid Certificate. Both are huge achievements, and the Bronze Medallion is no easy feat. I tried when I was 14 and failed–yikes! Looks like you all enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration for Dave. Jamaican Chinese fusion sounds tasty!
ReplyDeleteWay to go E on the swimming! And yes, our St Patrick's Day was lowkey as well. I cooked our favourite holiday meal on Sunday as we had more time.
