Friday Favourites

Happy Friday, April has arrived!  Given the April showers Toronto got on Wednesday (along with some snow!) and into Thursday morning, our May flowers should be abundant.

We had a productive week - some new furniture was delivered, we got our tax refund back, and we used up some of our Avion points on a new coffee grinder and espresso machine.

Q had his last winter soccer session on Monday.  He had a good time, as always.

On Monday I worked from home, and after the furniture was delivered, I went outside to walk up and meet E coming home from school. I chose the wrong laneway so I ended up having to circle back and caught up to him.  E has this thing where if he sees someone from afar, instead of yelling out to say hi, he will take a photo and then text it to them (creepy, haha).  So that's what I did to him.

Then I did it again on Tuesday evening when I was coming home from work.  E was walking up to get a Subway for his lunch the next day.

And I got him waiting for his friends to pick him up for swimming lessons.

We have been loving White Lotus! Can't believe there is only one episode left! Piper, no!

With the various US and Canadian tariffs being put in place, the liquor stores have stopped stocking US wine and spirits, so I've turned to some Ontario wine lately.  I have found two that are pretty good.  Now hoping that the inter-provincial barriers can be eliminated soon and we can get access to BC and NS wine next!

  1. We need to do our taxes! Ahhhhh! I always procrastinate and then it never takes that long so why don't I do them early?!?!?! I love teenagers and their weird habits, but I love turning their habits around on them even more!!!

  2. Oh gosh, that is rotten you had snow during the week. Well done with the productive week!
hehehe! My girls do that, take a photo and text instead of just shouting hi. It is rather creepy.

  3. Given all our April rain so far May should have tons of flowers! We have some snow showers possible in this week's forecast but I'm really hoping that switches to rain.
