1. Any back to school traditions?

We take photos of the kids on the front steps and we walk them to school on the first day. This year E is going to high school and he has a late start so I'm guessing he will get there on his own this year (although I'm happy to walk with him if he wants!!).

2. How do you celebrate the first day of school?

I try to buy a special cookie for their lunchbox.  We usually have Shay's Crunchy Beef and Mac on the first day of school. 

3. Favourite early fall/back to school meals?

Food with more ingredients! Haha, I just mean that during the summer we tend to BBQ more and each potatoes and simple vegetables (like corn on the cob).  With fall comes some better meal planning and dishes with more than two ingredients :)

4. What are your go to outfits for early fall?

I was actually thinking I need to get some new pants since I mostly wear shorts in the summer, but I don't know what trends are. I'll have to start paying attention to what people are wearing. 

5. Do kids go back to school before or after Labour Day in your area?

After Labour Day.  Next Tuesday! 

6. When do you start to decorate for fall?

Probably not until the end of September.  As long as we have things up before Thanksgiving (second Monday of October). 

7. How do you get back into the fall routine?

Meal plan, start getting up early to work out, going to bed earlier. 

8.  What are you most looking forward to this fall?

Getting together with friends.  I'm hoping with t-ball calming down, and more people back in town, we can get some dinners or invite people over. 

9. Do you decorate for fall?

Yes, we will put out a few things, and buy some mums for the front step.

10. What feels like fall to you?

Crisp mornings and darker evenings.
