Weekend Recap

 The weekend started out with a beautiful sunny day.   E and I were excited to hear the Roz and Mocha Remix on 92.5.  He likes the part when Mocha says, "It's Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!".  So we heard that and then went into school.  He stopped at one of the play structures so I took his picture.

I had a busy morning at work because I was leaving early to attend E's class's Mother's Day party.  They sang some songs, a couple of parents read books (including me), and then we had some snacks. 

After school let out, he played on the playground for a little while and then we went home.  E wanted to take his bike to another playground up the street.  He is pretty good at riding, but still needs some help getting started and then isn't that great at stopping, so it's a lot of bending over and running for the adult accompanying him - something I didn't sign up for!! So we were both tired when we got back from the park.  

After supper, we watched the new Star Wars.  E loved it. (Black eye courtesy of the sandbox at the school playground.)

On Saturday morning, I went to get my hair done and then met Dave and E down the street for lunch at Bread and Roses.  

When we got home, we did some cleaning and then settled in to watch the Raptors game.

On Sunday morning, I was treated to a lovely breakfast and some nice gifts.  I am very lucky!

E and I went to church and then we hurried home so we could catch the 12:15 showing of the Jungle Book.  It was a tad scary but E didn't think it was too bad and he liked it. 

After the movie I did a couple of errands and picked up a special treat.  I did share it with E.

And then we got a surprise visit from my parents.  On their way back from their cruise, they missed their connection to Halifax and had to spend the night with us!
