Today's topic is our least favourite activities, so here are five of mine:
Folding laundry. It feels way more exhausting than it should, even though I can do it while watching TV.
Talking on the phone. I hate having to call someone to arrange something, like a dentist appointment or change a flight. I hate when people call me out of the blue at work, I want to be prepared.
Drying my hair. My hair doesn't even take that long to dry but I don't like standing there. I have a Dyson Air Straight now which means I can dry it and straighten it and the same time, but more often than not I will let it air dry.
Paying my visa bill. The balance is always a surprise to me and then when I pay it, Dave will say "You had a big visa bill!!", and although he doesn't care what I buy he just doesn't like not knowing what I need to pay.
Putting all those little things away. You know the things that gather around the house, at the bottom of the stairs, on the counter, at the backdoor. It just feels like I'm always moving things around the house.
What do you hate doing?
I had "folding laundry" on my list and I also hate drying my hair. I NEVER do it, unless it's -40 out and my wet hair will freeze.

ReplyDeletedrying my hair is a chore in its own. I hate getting hot while doing it so there are lots of breaks.
ReplyDeleteYeah I am not a fan of drying my hair either; I try to prop open a book and read while I do that so at least I have something to do! I don't like talking on the phone either; funny when I think how many hours I used to spend on the phone as a teen!!

ReplyDeleteYes to all of those, especially drying hair! Since I got keratin treatment it's easier and takes less time. But it's still a chore.
ReplyDeleteLaundry is a never ending job! I don't mind hanging it out on the line but folding it is so boring.
ReplyDeleteI hate speaking on the phone too. I would much rather email or text.
Drying my hair was always so tedious. Mine is extra thick! But since the curls took over...well, no more hair drying. I will try to take that as one more perk as I learn to live with these new curls!
ReplyDeleteI don't love drying my hair either! One thing I love about summer is that I can get away with just letting it air dry. I hate paying bills too! haha
