Ready to start Christmas shopping?

I haven't done an Arbonne themed post in awhile, but since the holidays are approaching, I thought now would be the perfect time.  There are so many good reasons to start your shopping now - it spreads out your costs, so your December credit card bill isn't humongous, you have less to do in the weeks leading up to Christmas, you can start gift wrapping now, and if you're buying from Arbonne, you get to avoid the shops altogether and wait for your items to arrive at your door.

Arbonne has gifts for everyone on your list, I'm serious.  You can buy for your family and close friends, but also teachers, assistants, babysitters/nannies, or hostess gifts.

And if you are a Preferred Client, not only do you save 20% on all of your orders, if you spend more than $300.00, then you get to choose $150.00 worth of products for $30.00, so you could buy even more gifts (or just get stuff for yourself, I won't tell).  Also depending on how much you buy, there are options for "Purchase with Purchase" items, where you can buy travel sized items that also make good gifts.

Here are some ideas for you, but feel free to browse the website.  I'm always happy to answer questions or give specific suggestions.  If you would like me to send you a catalogue, let me know.

For the women in your life:

Hair Masque - the smell of this product alone is enough reason to buy it, but it also makes your hair so nice.  I use it about once a week.

Make Up Primer - I wear this under my make up everyday, and it helps it from rubbing off throughout the day.

FC5 Set - these can also be purchased separately.  This is the line I use, cleanser, day cream and night cream.  Light, smells nice, and affordable.

For the men in your life:
RE9 Advanced for Men Set - these can be purchased separately.  Men love this shaving cream, and the soap, aftershave, and lotion are equally amazing.

For Kids and Teens:

Super Chews  - these are basically just vitamins, and are recommended for kids aged 4 to 18.

Baby Care Set - Okay, you're child may not be over excited to open up shampoo and body lotion for Christmas, but these are lovely products.  Just because they say "baby", the lotion, shampoo/body wash, and sunscreen can be used by older kids too, E uses them.

For Teachers, Assistants, Nannies, etc.

Foaming Sea Salt Scrub - Everyone likes the feeling of a spa.  This product is great for the bath or shower, particularly if you're feeling sore or tired.

Ultra-Hydrating Hand Cream - This is a well priced product, with a mild scent.

Cooling Foot Cream - A nice relaxing product that anyone would enjoy.

Shea Butter Pomelo Grapefruit Hand Lotion - this is a special holiday item, only available now, in limited quantities.

I will be putting in an order soon, so if you're interested in starting your shopping, please let me know.  If you live local, I can deliver it to you.  If you live fair away, I can send it to you.  Remember in order to take advantage of savings and special offers, you should sign up as a Preferred Customer, now is the time!  You just need my Arbonne ID code 116201315.

Remember Arbonne is Pure Clean and Beneficial.  You will feel good about buying these products for your family and other people that you care about.

Friday Favourites

Linking up with AndreaErika and Narci for Friday Favourites.

Let's get right to it!

1. The Arbonne Holiday Line is available!  Let the Christmas shopping begin.  There are some scents that are only available at this time of year, like the pineapple papaya and pomelo grapefruit.  There is also a special flavour of the fit chews that I'm really excited about, Peppermint Cocoa

2. I love my new purse from Stella and Dot.  I saw Jillian had it on her instagram the other day after I'd purchased it which is pretty cool.  I decided to treat myself to this because it will be great for Barcelona - it's a cross body bag with a zipper, and it is silver so it goes with everything.

3. I was wondering through the Bay the other day and they had a few items from the Drake General Store.  The Drake is a favourite restaurant of ours and they also have a very hipster store.  The brand has branched out to different parts of the city, including the Bay.  I bought a few things for E's birthday, but I'll be sharing those next month.  E's first day of school shirt also came from this store; they always have something neat.

4. I ordered the new iPhone 6S this week.  I went with the Rose Gold colour, why not eh? Let's hope it arrives before we leave for Barcelona.

5. Looking for a new idea for breakfast?  Try this granola recipe that we make all the time.  So tasty and a bit healthier than your typical granola.

Happy Friday!

Friday Favourites

Linking up with AndreaErika and Narci for Friday Favourites.

1. One of my favourite things is getting things fixed around the house.  We got our ceiling fixed in the  living room.  Rather than just patching the hole, we had the whole ceiling plastered.  We were able to keep the curve on the edge of the ceiling, to keep some of the original character, but it is smooth now and it can be easily painted and cleaned.  The room is far from done but this was a big piece of it and I'm glad it's done.

Before

During

After (blurry picture without lights, but you get the idea)

2. I'm going to a Stella and Dot party next week.  A few of my favourite pieces that I'm checking out are:

Aurelia Pendant Necklace

Madeline Pearl Necklace

Renegade Cluster Bracelet
Makeup Bag in Spring Green Ikat

3. Did you know if you're an Arbonne Preferred Client (or Independent Consultant) and you spend over $300 then you get to pick out $150 worth of products for $30.  This week I decided to "splurge" for the Intelligence Genius Nightly Resurfacing Pads.  This is one of my favourite products but it is pricey.  When I get to take advantage of the $150 for $30, I like to get some special things like this one.

4.  My favourite music growing up was rap/hip hop.  Yes, I know, shocking.  So when Straight Outta Compton was advertised, I knew I wanted to see it.  I am hoping to get there this week to see it sometime since it is at the theatre by our house.

5.  We ordered E's new backpack and Dave decided to get passport holders for all of us too.  They are pretty nice, and we all got our own pattern.  This is mine.

Happy (last) Friday (of August)!!

Show and Tell Tuesday

Linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday.

Today's topic is our beauty routine.  Now I am under no illusions that anyone really cares much about my beauty routine - even calling it a routine doesn't seem accurate - but maybe you'll pick up a new product to try.  (Particularly because most of my products are Arbonne!)

On my face I use a lot of the FC5 line. Cleanser / Day Lotion / Night Cream / Eye Cream (my night cream is empty so I'm using the RE9 Night Cream

For my makeup, after I apply my Day Lotion, I always use the Makeup Primer.  Then I use the Nars Tinted Moisturizer (in Groenland) or CC Cream (in Light) / Nars Concealer (in Custard) / Powder / Blush (in Ballet) / Eye Shadow (alternating between the Lilac and Smoke) / Mascara

For my hair and body, Shampoo (this tea tree formula is good if you have dry scalp) / Conditioner (not pictured, I'm all out) / Body Wash / Body Lotion and once a week I use the Hair Mask

I wash my hair every other day but I still use my flat iron everyday.  I have a Chi flat iron that I got before E was born (about 4 years ago) and it is still works really well.  When my hair is wet, I use either this Hair Serum or Leave in Conditioner before I dry it.  The leave in conditioner is especially good for the summer when you're at the pool or beach. You can rinse your hair and spray it with this and it provides some moisture and protection even if you're not going to be washing your hair right away.  It is available at Wal-Mart.

I'm in the market for a good dry shampoo - any recommendations?

Thank you for stopping by today!

Friday Favourites

Linking up with AndreaErika, and Narci for Friday Favourites.

1. I love Canada Day for many reasons, but one of them is that it usually creates a weird holiday week.  This year it fell on a Wednesday so we got two (very) short work weeks.  See my post here listing all of the random things I love about Canada.

2. I love Sugar Beach in Toronto.  It has pretty pink umbrellas and white sand.  It is east of the Harbourfront area so it isn't as crowded as other spots.  There is a splash pad there and a pretty good restaurant.  We biked there on Canada Day on the new bike lanes on Queen's Quay.

3. I love promoting new specials for Arbonne.  For the month of July, if you are Preferred Customer and buy 150 QV of products (approximately $150.00), you will receive a complimentary product of your choice with a value of up to $60.  If you have been on the fence of signing up as a Preferred Customer and receiving 20% off of your purchases (with a $24 sign up fee), then now is the time!  Existing Preferred Customers are eligible for this too.

4. Speaking of Arbonne, I love my new hair masque.  It makes my hair so soft and it smells delicious.

5. I love '90s music.  This week 98 Degrees came up, and I was immediately transplanted back to my friend Janna's house watching these videos on Much Music. #invisibleman #soshecantseeanyofthem

Enjoy your weekend!!

New Arbonne Products!

Last week Arbonne held its Global Training Conference in Las Vegas last week.  At this year's conference a few new products were introduced.  I love seeing the new products and I can't wait to try them.

Lip Balm. SPF 15 with coconut oil.

Tinted self-tanner.

There are 16 shades of this new lipstick.  This one is Peony.

Ten shades of this lip gloss. This is Primrose.

RE9 Advanced Lifting and Contouring Eye Creme

I am super excited about this sunscreen. When I am outside in the summer I am usually doing something active so this sunscreen will be more appropriate than Arbonne's original sunscreen.

I feel like now that it's getting warmer, people are coming out hibernation.  If you're interested in hosting an Arbonne party, I would be happy to help you host one.

I am also putting an order in before month's end, so if you're interested in getting some of these new products, or any of the old standards, please let me know.  If you live local, I can deliver it to you.  If you live far away, I can send it to you.  Remember you're always welcome to set up your own account, just use my Arbonne ID code 116201315.
