It's the last Friday of the summer before school starts next week. I never like to let go of summer, but the fall will be full of fun activities.
On Monday night Q was called up for a baseball game. He was walked twice and struck out once. Here is in in Right Field.
I let him pick out a fun cereal as a treat for the last week of summer holidays. Can't go wrong with Froot Loops.
On Tuesday I had to go downtown to get some documents apostilled (special stamp for use in other countries) and I brought Q with me.
We were right near The Queen and Beaver Pub so we popped in for a quick lunch. I hadn't been there in years!
When did this kid get so big looking? Ready for t-ball practice.
While he was at practice I went for a walk and then it started pouring! I hid under a tree as the heaviest showers passed.
Meanwhile Dave was at the Blue Jays game with some friends.
E has been at camp. We got a glimpse of him and his friend on yesterday's Instagram Reel (yes it says Tik Tok but I'm an elder millennial so I caught it on Instagram).
And then Q and I got out for 9 holes last night. It had rained all day but cleared up for out tee time. Q wanted to try walking with a push cart instead of a power cart like we usually do when we go with him. I said he wasn’t allowed to complain, and he didn’t, but he did say at the end that he may want to ride next time.

Fruit Loops was usually my middle son's "junky"/treat cereal of choice too. I just missed the pouring showers today... I was debating about walking up our road to get our mail and as I put the computer away and put on my shoes the skies just opened up and started down pouring! We really needed the rain so badly but I am glad I managed to stay dry.
