Happy Friday! We have a long weekend here in Canada so it is a happy Friday for sure.
Earlier this week I shared on Instagram that Q made the rep baseball team for the summer. His coach made sure to call while I was sitting with Q so he got the news directly. He’s very excited, and so are we! Dave is an assistant coach and I’m the manager, we know we will get to hang out with some great families this summer (coincidently I wrote a post about how to make friends, see Here).
We had ordered this cool clothes for Q and gave it to him when he got the news he made the team.
New job means a new office view. I finally got downtown this week to pick up my keycard for the door. I will go down again today to meet someone in person and will plan to go down at least once a week going forward.
Dave is away on a golf trip this week. When he arrived they went to a local ball game. It looks very pleasant, and warmer than it has been here!!

Q had his spring concert at the school where the classes played string instruments they have been learning.
They did very well.
We were pretty excited with Varsho hit his walk off grand slam on Wednesday night. We were still watching although I wasn’t very confident they could come back and win. I was proven wrong!
Although Q has a couple of baseball practices, we pretty much have three open days without set plans. We have a few things we would like to do but also take advantage of some downtime.
