Let's Look - Low Level Goals for 2025

 


I'm looking forward to linking up with these lovely ladies (Shay and Erika) for another year of Let's Look.  

Today we are talking about our goals for the year. I did a post about that on New Year's Eve, that you can read here.  So although it's been all of two weeks I thought I would tell you how I'm doing so far:

Eating Well - Everyone talks about counting macros, so finally this week I looked at what that actually meant, and then I created a spreadsheet to do the calculations. It certainly is a shift in the way of thinking, but I think it will be helpful to get a better sense of what we're eating and what we need to add. 

Meal Prep - My mom was visiting for the first week so meal prep meant she get dinner ready and made muffins! So that was helpful. I have made a batch of meatballs for the freezer and used them for Q's lunch yesterday. 

Social Media Time - As I mentioned in my original goals post I deleted a bunch of accounts I was following, and I think that has really helped reduce my consumption. 

Massage/Chiropractor - I have a massage booked for today! If that goes well then I will rebook in another couple of weeks.  My back hasn't been bothering me that much so if the massage is good enough, then maybe I can avoid the chiropractor. 

Working Out - I am working out with weights or on the bike most days and coordinating those workouts with our weekend skiing. I've been too much of a wuss to think about a run outside in this cold weather.

Family Time - We have been busy so far to put any concentrated efforts into board games, but we are spending lots of time together in the car and at the ski hill.
