Happy Halloween! And Happy Game 6 of the World Series Day! This has been a week for Blue Jays fans!! Three games in a row with the Monday game going to 18 innings. The kids went to bed at the end of the 9th and Dave and I watched until about 1:30 but eventually had to turn it off. But we dutifully tuned in the next night for a win and then another win on Wednesday. But these late nights are adding up!
When we did the cupcake decorating last weekend, the parting gift was a caramel apple kit. Q enjoyed making that on Monday.
Both boys played at the little music recital on Tuesday. They did a great job.
E has a swimming exam coming up in a couple of weeks but hasn’t actually been swimming for awhile so I took him to lane swim on Wednesday morning before school. He did a good job but needs a bit more practice for the exam. We will go again on the weekend.
We got to work carving our pumpkins on Wednesday night and finished them up on Thursday.
You know we had to do a Blue Jays pumpkin this year!
And Q wanted to do 6-7!
A few Halloween themed treats - mummy dogs (served with zombie brains/green macaroni cheese), and classic Rice Krispie squares for Q to take to his class party.
Hope you have a safe Halloween and Go Jays Go!!
Your Blue Jays pumpkin turned out great; they all look really good. I bet most of your co-workers and the boys' friends are all walking around slightly sleep deprived too.
