New York Recommendations

Okay everyone, I'm opening this up to you, I need lots of comments on the blog or on my Facebook post.  Tell me what I should do in New York when I go in September.  I'm travelling with my friend Cindy.  We fly in on a Thursday morning and leave on Sunday evening.  Our hotel is just southeast of Times Square so we are very central.

We are very close to the North end of the High Line, so we can easily walk down to the Chelsea Market

Dave and I traveled to New York in November of 2013. I posted about that trip here.  There are a couple of things I would do again, and this is Cindy's first trip to NYC, but I want to see a few different things too.  It is rare that I get to visit the same city twice, so I'm looking forward to being more familiar with it this time.

The focus for me is on the food. When Dave and I went we had done some research into restaurants but I think we could do better this time.  There is so much information out there, even compared to four years ago.  We also did a comedy club and a magic show so recommendations for the theatre or something different but similar are also welcome.
