Peaches by Justin Bieber ft. Daniel Caesar, Giveon - I love a good Beibes song!
Ukiuq by The Jerry Cans - This is an Inuk band and this song features throat singing, and catchy.
Live Your Life by T.I. Rhianna - This is an oldie but it was recently featured on The Mitchells vs. The Machines movie so it's making a comeback here.
Lovely Day by Bill Withers - Listen to this without bopping your head, I dare you.
Save Your Tears by The Weeknd - This is my top Weeknd song, but the original, not the Ariana Grande remix, no offence Ariana.
Bobcaygeon by The Tragically Hip - No summer playlist would be complete without a Hip song.
Hand Me Downs by The Arkells - Another oldie but a fresh catchy song.
I never listen to music consistently -- it's usually just whatever is on the radio or whatever Rachel or Dave is playing. However, I appreciate the Hip song!
ReplyDeleteI love The Jerry Cans!!! My friend and I were at Mariposa a few weeks ago and Lucinda Williams was singing. She insulted the audience and seemed totally drunk, so we said “Let’s check out the pub tent.” The Jerry Cans we’re in the pub and they had everyone up and dancing! They became the highlight of our weekend. I saw them again at Harbourfront in 2019. They bring the party wherever they are!
