Weekend Recap

We had some great burgers for supper on Friday night.  Then I finally opened a bottle of beaujolais nouveau.   We watched a new Christmas movie after supper, A Boy Called Christmas.  

I did a workout on Saturday morning when I got up.  The boys were watching TV and playing games.  Just before 10:00 we got our food donations out on the front steps. 

While Q was at gymnastics, E and I walked down Roncesvalles and did a little shopping. We liked this Lego display in one of the windows.

In the afternoon we decorated the tree.  The kids actually did a really great job of helping (better than years past) so I didn't need to do too much rearranging  

Then I went up the street to get a blow out. My office Christmas party was on Saturday night so I wanted my hair to look a little nicer than it usually does.  

Our dinner was downtown at Taverna Mercatto.  We had a wine tasting before dinner and a lovely meal.  It was great to get together with everyone and meet the spouses of my co-workers.

Q and I made some oat cakes on Sunday morning to start getting ready for our party happening this weekend.  He did a great job!

The kids and Dave walked up the street to get a few things and I went to the grocery storey.  Then we watched the most insane F1 race of the season.  After supper we watched Klaus with the kids and then a couple of episodes of Only Murders in the Building.
