Friday Favourites

Even with this short week, we seemed to be running around a lot!  Yesterday E's school hosted a playground party to celebrate their new soccer field, baseball courts, and hockey nets.  They had some food trucks and other snacks to buy.  Dave played basketball with E. 

E also had his first choir practice this week.  He has wanted to join the children's choir at church for the past couple of years, and this year I thought he was probably ready.  He is enthusiastic.  They re doing the solfège notes here.

I bought this plate for Q for his birthday.  I wasn't sure how he would do with having a whole plate of food in front of him but he has done well.

My cousin sent this book to E for his birthday (and we let him open it early).  It is hilarious and perfect for little kids of E's age (5-6).  

I bought another favourite book for Q's birthday.  Good old loveable Grover.

I shared some fall favourites yesterday.
