Weekend Recap

Another action packed weekend at our house! Dave's parents are visiting with us as we dismantle the basement and prepare it for the renovations.  Their visit also meant we could go out on Friday night without having to arrange a babysitter.  We went to a gala for the Community Foundation of Mississauga.  My firm had four tables of lawyers and our guests.

With the ladies I work with.

I got to sleep in for a bit on Saturday morning and when I got up, Dave made me this lovely breakfast .

After that he headed downstairs to work, I walked up the street to do some errands (library, dry cleaners, cobbler, meat store).  Then E and I went to a birthday party for one of his friends.  We enjoyed some lego cars, pizza and Bake Sale cupcakes.

When we got back we started raking the front yard.  We jumped in them a bit, talked to some neighbours, and made a good dent on the leaves.

After that, we went inside to get the ribs ready to cook on the BBQ.

E and I got up early on Sunday morning and snuggled on the couch to watch a couple of shows before our day really got started.  Then we raked a few more leaves in the backyard before going to church.

This was Dave's project for the weekend.  They got a lot accomplished and worked very hard.

This is the former bathroom and laundry room.

There used to be a wall here.

We raked up a few more bags of leaves, but with lots more to go.  Then I made a few pizzas for supper.
