What's Going On?

I heard this song the other day on the radio - What's Going On by Marvin Gaye.  It was written in 1969 inspired by police brutality against black people.  It is worth listening to now and putting it in the context of the recent shootings against both black men and the police in Dallas.  Seriously, what is going on!??!  Why are we still asking these questions so many years after the civil rights movement?

Another song that was written years ago but still seems relevant is Changes by Tupac. Although we did see the black president that he mentions, the same issues are present.

As I said on Friday, I don't really have any answers, but we do need to keep asking questions.  Maybe someday these songs will stay in the past where they belong.
