It was school holiday concert time! Q was excited to wear his candy cane shirt and bowtie again.
E was on the sound board and did a great job. He also wore a holiday shirt.
We were in the second row but it was hard to get a good photo. Q and some of the other kids played the xylophone and he had a "solo" that he was quite proud of.
They did a great job!
The Canada Post strike drags on so most of our Christmas cards are still sitting here. Friends and family, you will still get a card from us even though it won't arrive until January. There are a few I've been able to hand deliver (or will do today).
Some other highlights from my week - holiday Peloton ride, two lunches out with colleagues, high school open house with E, and starting a new show "A Gentleman in Moscow", based on the novel, and starring Ewan McGregor. It's on CBC Gem for you Canadians (and I guess Paramount for the Americans).
This weekend calls for some Home Alone, skiing, and gingerbread houses :)
We gave up on doing holiday cards this year, partially thanks to the strike. Next year we will be back!
ReplyDeleteI love the candy cane shirt! Q looks so happy, bless him. Well done to the kids with the concert!
ReplyDeleteI just read (and then watched) A Gentleman in Moscow this year and I really liked the movie/series adaptation even if they did change quite a bit of it. Looks like both boys had a great holiday show!
