Last monthly musings of the year with Holly and Patty.

1. What do you do about last minute gifts you forgot to buy? 

I don't forget anything, I have a meticulous plan.  But I do have a bad habit of buying more things around this time thinking I don't have enough for people.

2. Favourite last minute holiday recipe?

Again, what is with the "last minute"? Meticulous planning I tell you!!  

3.  Favourite part of the holiday season so far?

Has to be our Christmas party, I love welcoming people to our home!

4. Best stocking stuffer/small gift? 

I did a post about that last year.

5. Favourite holiday sweet treat?

This year it is the ginger chocolate shortbreads.  I made a batch for our party but need to make them again before Christmas. 

6. Will you make a New Year's Resolution?

No

7. Do you use a planner? Paper or electronic?

Everything is on my work calendar, and we have a wall calendar at home for the kids to look at.

8. Stay up at midnight or sound asleep when the ball drops?
We stay up but head to bed shortly after midnight.

9. What do you do on New Year's Day?

For the past couple of years I have bought all of the things to make a full brunch at home - eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, fruit, and pastries. And we like to go for a walk.

10. Are you taking time off in December?

Yes, I have a number of holidays scheduled, however I am also waiting for a client to get back to us on a contract that starts January 1, so I am anticipating that I will need to do a bit of work on those days "off".
