One Year of AG1

(This is not a sponsored post, I'm not that fortunate!)

Last year Dave gifted me a subscription for AG1 (Athletic Greens).  I had heard of this product because it was a constant sponsor of podcasts that I listened to.  It's basically a supplement that contains a number of vitamins and minerals and is supposed to be good for energy and gut health.  When you sign up you get a nice metal tin and scoop, and a drinking container.  Then each month the packets of the supplement is delivered.
On Boxing Day of last year, I started drinking it every morning when I got up before I ate breakfast.  I've really only missed a handful of days throughout the year, because even when I'm travelling I will take the travel packs with me.
Now, can I tell the difference? I think so.  It's not like the minute I drink I feel like a superhero, but there are days when I kind of realize I'm not exhausted.  I am prone to low iron and feeling tired used to be a regular part of my day. My iron is not as low as it used to be, and of course over time, my kids have become more independent so they don't drain as much energy as they used to, so I can't be sure that the extra energy is entirely attributable to the AG1, but I'm sure it's contributing.
On those mornings when I'm had a few too many drinks the night before, I always feel like the AG1 will cure my ails. Now, I don't drink as much as I used to at one time, so it's possible that I'm doing a good job at avoiding severe hangovers, but again, I'm sure the AG1 is contributing to recovery on those mornings.
I've still gotten sick a few times this year, probably even with COVID, but I do feel mostly healthy, again, not sure if that is due to the AG1 or just general healthy habits.
So despite all of these comments, I am happy to keep up with this into the next year. The benefits may be somewhat imperceptible but it's certainly not hurting me.
The ads say it tastes great, but I'm not going to go that far.  It's not horrible, but I definitely gulp it down to get rid of it.
Is this a recommendation? I guess you can decide for yourself if you think it is for you.
