Little Things - Part 8 - Christmas Edition

Celebrating the little things, that are really the big things when you think about it.

Checking the mail.  Our mail arrives around 3:00 in the afternoon and I love poking my head out of the door to see if we have any new cards.

Absentmindedly singing a few lines of a Christmas carol.  When E's friend was over on the weekend, he kept singing a couple of lines of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, it was the cutest thing.

Wishing someone a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.  There is very little interaction with people nowadays (I'm so old I'm saying nowadays), but when you can take the extra minute to wish them well in the holiday season, it is a nice moment.

Enjoying a little cookie or other treat with my coffee in the morning.  I love having yummy stuff in the house to sweeten my day.

Putting gifts under the tree.  I love getting gifts, don't get me wrong, but I am more excited about my gifts for others - wrapping them, placing them under the tree, sometimes in strategic locations, and the watching someone open it.
