Introduction and Welcome

I haven't done an introduction to who I am for awhile so I thought I would.  I know most of my readers are real life friends of mine but in case there are some new readers out there, then this is me!

I am a number of things - a wife, a mother, a lawyer, a blogger.  

I like watching TV and reading books, I like getting outside, even in the winter, and I like to cook and eat.  I started this blog in 2014 as a way to keep in touch with family and friends and also as a way to be a little creative.  I write about our day to day lives and a variety of other things, including my faith, thoughts about current events, and pop culture things.  My goal in writing is to share what I'm into as sort of a recommendation.  I don't like to talk about myself too much in real life, but here I can talk about myself all I want!  Maybe there are things you'll pick up that you can relate to or that you want to try.  

This is my family:

Dave and I were married in 2009.  We have a lot of common which is good, but we also balance each other out in many aspects.  It's seems to be going well so far ;)  

E is our 6 year old and Q is our 1 year old.  They are both great kids (of course!), they are happy a majority of the time which cannot be appreciated enough.  It is fun to watch their own brother relationship develop.

Thanks for continuing to check in with me day after day.  I'd love to engage more with my readers but I know leaving comments can be a challenge for people.  I think it has to do with Google, which is this blogging platform, and whether you're constantly logged into your Google account or  if you have to log in when you go to leave the comment.  But if you can leave a comment, here or on Facebook, please do and let me know what you'd like to see more of (and less of) in this space.
