Here is a real life photo of me from Wednesday night after doing a track workout along with a bunch of jumping jacks. It was about 25 degrees (Celsius) and humid. I recovered quickly though.
I love our new Muskoka chairs from Canadian Tire (here). Since the kids are usually up on the lawn playing, it's much better to sit up there to help them out, and the retaining wall wasn't that comfortable.
Yesterday I posted about some of my current favourite wines and how to read price tag labels at the liquor store.
Jean Chretien (our former Prime Minister) was interviewed on the Current yesterday morning. He has a good sense of humour, something missing in politics nowadays, and knew what to wade into and what to leave alone.
I watched the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Lifetime movie this week. It was a little cheesy and dramatic but was good entertainment. It's hard to know what is true and what isn't, but it's a good story nonetheless. The actress playing Meghan was really good, very similar looks and she nailed Meghan's voice.
We watched the Andre the Giant HBO documentary this week and it was so good. My only real knowledge of Andre was from The Princess Bride ("anybody want a peanut?") so it was really interesting to see his background and his wrestling career. And now I want to watch The Princess Bride again!
