Show and Tell Tuesday

First of all a Happy 7th Anniversary to my husband Dave!!  We got married in Halifax, Nova Scotia on a beautiful weekend surrounded by many family and friends, including a few who are no longer with us.  Last year I posted my favourite things about our wedding. 

Second, it is a long weekend here, so I can't post about our weekend until Tuesday, so instead I'll do the link up today.

Today's topic is my favourite vacation.  

It is hard to pick a favourite vacation because I love every trip for different reasons.  My favourite vacations are when we go to a new place and see new things and have new experiences.  

My first trip overseas was our honeymoon (May 2009). I posted about that trip here.  We went to Rome, Venice, Interlaken, and Paris.  

I also loved our trip to Peru and have been wanting to go back to South America since then.  We went at the end of my maternity leave in October of 2012.  We flew into Lima, spent a couple of days there before going to Cusco to get acclimatized for the Machu Picchu trek.  E has been asking about Machu Picchu so maybe we will make this trip again in a few years. And of course I loved Barcelona.  It was our first big trip with E.  We went in October 2015.  Barcelona is my favourite city, it has the old charm of a European city but with a beach and lots to do with kids.  I posted about that trip in several parts, you can find them all here.

I would love to go to Argentina or Belgium next.
