The boys had swimming on Monday night which is a favourite time for them. We were early so we watched from up top before getting changed.
We got our decorations out this week and put up everything but the tree and the outdoor lights.
I like most of our decorations but I think it's time to add some new things. I'll probably swing by Homesense or Michaels next week and see what I can find.
Speaking of trying new things, I looked at some different side dishes for our turkey dinner. Nothing too crazy but he has recipes for a baked mashed potatoes, roasted parsnips, and red cabbage.
On Wednesday I was a dinner for a group I am part of and the guest speaker was Peter Hall, the Chief Economist for Export Development Canada. I know that sounds less than thrilling but he is a very entertaining speaker (it was my 3rd or 4th time hearing him) and I learned a few things.
I wrote a post on Wednesday about why I send Christmas cards. I just checked the order status of this year's cards and it says they will arrive on 29th. Fingers crossed!

We're bringing out all our Christmas totes today and starting to deck the halls. I'm enjoy some quiet time before the chaos.
