Christmas Recap Part 2

Continuing on from the first part of our Christmas holidays...

E got an art kit for Christmas so on Boxing Day he and my mom painted some pictures.  E's technique was both water-colours and oil pastels.

Q played with the hot wheels track

We played some rummoli after supper.
And when the kids went to bed, I read some of my book by the tree.  My favourite place to be.

The next morning I drove my parents back to the airport and when I got back we went to the mall. Dave needed a new piece of luggage as his barely made it back from Disney.  I also got a few new things at Nordstrom and lululemon and we had lunch at the foodcourt.

Movie night with popcorn from our new popcorn maker.

On Friday we decided to check out the Science Centre.  Q had never been there before and he was excited to check it out.

E loves the water station

Q checking out the groceries.

My little construction worker.

Eating our peanut butter sandwiches

Laying down in the log bench

On Saturday, I went to my workout in the morning, and then we went to our friends' house for brunch.   For supper we tried out the new pizza place on Bloor.

We got some snow overnight so Q went out to shovel while Dave took down the outdoor Christmas lights.

E went to church with me.  We sang a bunch of carols, by request, and then we enjoyed some hot apple cider and cookies in the sanctuary.

After church we went to Costco and the grocery store.  I prepped some food for the new year's party we were going to and made a soup.  The boys played with the hot wheels track again.

Q likes to push all of the buttons on these guys at once.

We celebrated New Year's Eve at two different parties.  The first was at our neighbours' house.

Then we left E there (to stay overnight at his friend's house) and we took Q on the subway to our next party.

Oysters to start

Q watched some Paw Patrol and then we put him to bed.

Yummy prime rib dinner.

That's a wrap on our Christmas holidays for this year.  Thanks for reading along.
