Friday Favourites

Phew what a week! In addition to our regular sports and activities, there was a mining conference in town (PDAC for those that know) that I attended, a board meeting and dinner, Q's graduation from Senior Kindergarten, and the school's big BBQ bash.

I bought this new sweater from Club Monaco.  I know, who wears a sweater in the summer? But it was too pretty not to buy and on Monday it was slightly chillier in the morning and my office is always cold so I was fine.

Before our board dinner we stopped into the Library Bar at the Royal York Hotel. It was like the before times, full of people, lots of activity. Fun to pop in for a drink!

Q's class had their little graduation at the park.

Party in the playground! Q got a dog and snake for balloon animals.

E hung out with his friends for most of the night.  He did several rounds at the Jar Walk.

The firefighters showed up and kids got to use the hose to spray the other kids. It was a welcome refreshing treat on a very hot and humid day.  Q's turn!

Both kids love cotton candy!

Also I wanted to share the things I got at Sephora while I was in Montreal:

This was actually my free gift for my birthday, the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow.  I usually wear powdered eye shadow, so this is different to put on and I like it.

This is the Nudestix Lip and Cheek Pencil. I had heard about this from a friend and this was my first opportunity to try it out.  I never usually wear lipstick but I like this.

I've thought about buying the Bum Bum Cream for years and I finally picked up this mini version at the cash register.

I was in search of a new facial scrub so the lady at the store suggested this Scrub and then I got the Cleanser as a free sample.  I'm loving these products so far!

Also a Happy Father's Day to Dave and the Papas in our life this weekend!  I'm not sure what we will do on Sunday, but we are going to the church in the morning so it will be something in the afternoon.

Linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favourites.

  1. Sounds like you had a busy but fun week! I am also known to wear a jumper in the summer as the air conditioning at work can get so cold! At home too, I'll be shivering and my husband will be sweating!! I like the pretty pastel mint colour of yours.
