Hope for Christmas

For many people Christmas can be a pretty difficult time, whether that's every year or maybe just this year that is particularly hard.  Know that I am thinking of and praying for you.  Our church is holding a "Longest Night" service on Wednesday night.  It is "a gentle Christmastime service of comfort and hope".  If you are local, you can stop in at Royal York Road United Church (851 Royal York Road, Toronto) at 7:00 on Wednesday.  Or if you aren't local, or can't get to the church, you can join the live stream on the church's YouTube channel (here).  Maybe it will provide you with some quiet reflection as you take on this time of year.
