This was such a fun week, Super Bowl, Pancake Tuesday, Valentine's Day, Report Cards, and a snowstorm!
We made pancakes on Tuesday, our regular recipe is just as good as it's always been.
I picked up a few things for the boys - Purdy's chocolates and Squish gummies. I also made some little valentines for them. Q's says "Bee my Valentine" and E's said "If you were a triangle, you'd be acute one".
This is the little treat I had picked up for myself. It was so good I only remembered a photo after I had eaten it!
Dave and I went out for lunch at the golf course. I took this first photo as something Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds would do.

I saw this the other day on Shay's post. She claimed number 2 was the only way to go, and I cannot disagree more! To me it's number 3. When I do my hair, which for me means using my new Dyson Airstrait, I am hot so I don't want to already be wearing my makeup or my outfit. Then I don't want to get makeup all over my clothes so I tend to get dressed last. Occasionally I will invert and go with number 6 if my top would be difficult to get over my head without smearing my makeup. Which one are you?
It's a long weekend for us. We have two days of skiing but I'm looking forward to one day that we don't need to get up early :)
I don't wear makeup... but I find that I'm pretty interchangeable whether I get dressed first or do my hair first.
ReplyDeleteI saw that post too and I'm definitely a 3 all the way! I also get all hot after I blow dry my hair and I would be a sweaty mess if I did my makeup and had my outfit on. I Never ever thought that there would be any alternatives that would work other than 3!
ReplyDeleteIn winter, I get dressed first (except for my sweater), then do my hair (towel dry and comb), and then put on my sweater. Then fluff my hair. Considering I feel like I'm not "complicated" -- no makeup, no hair drying -- it sounds rather complex when I write it out! HAHAHAHA!
