Let's Look - Little Everyday Things

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today's "Let's Look" topic is little things we do every single day.   I kept this list to things that I actually do every day, not just things that are regular habits, since I cannot say that every day I exercise, read, make sure I get outside, or drink x glasses of water.  I do those things, but not necessarily every day on a regular basis.  And of course there are some things I do every weekday when working but not necessarily on the weekends.

Drink AG1 - I received an Athletic Greens subscription for Christmas and I have been drinking it since then.  I feel good about drinking it and think it's helping me with energy levels during the day.

Drink coffee - I am one of those people that is addicted to coffee meaning if I don't have any, I will get a headache.  Since Christmas I am also in the habit of adding a scoop of collagen.

Eat Breakfast - I always needs to have something to eat in the morning. I was raised with the notion that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Typically my breakfast is my healthiest meal, so I feel like it's a good start.

Listen to Music - I like to put music on in the background while I am working and while I am making supper.  It's preferable to having the TV on.

Check on my kids before bed - Since they were babies I would make sure they were still breathing before I went to bed at night, and I have continued to do this even today.  I'm less concerned about their breathing now, but I also want to make sure they are covered up.

Say a Prayer - I do this while I am falling asleep. I start with things I am thankful for and the move into prayers for others.  However I am usually so quick to fall asleep, I rarely get through my whole list! But it's the thought that counts.

I'm sure I've left some things off of this list so I'll be looking forward to seeing what is on others' lists.

Linking up with Andrea and Erika.

  1. I forgot to add to my list that I say a prayer in the mornings. I used to always check on my kids right up until they were a lot older. It was so good to see them safely tucked in their bed even if they were big men. Now my 19-year-old usually goes to bed after me!
