Hello! Thank you for joining us today. You can join us on the second Monday of each month with the topics listed below. You can use our graphics and link up. My co-hosts are: Adrienne, Dara, Jen, and Joanne.
Today we are talking about favourite makeup and hair products. I don't wear a ton of makeup and usually only wear it when I'm going into the office (three times a week) or going out (very rarely). But of the makeup I have, these are my favourite things.
Eye Concealer - Easy way to cover over the dark circles under my eyes.
Tinted Moisturizer - I actually would have referred to this as Foundation, but when I just did the search, I see it is called tinted moisturizer. But that would explain why I like it, because it's light and easy to apply.
CC Cream - this one has SPF 40. I take turns using this one with the Nars product.
Eye Stick - I have a few different colours of this eye stick. To keep with the theme, it's very easy to apply!
Mascara - I love this tubing mascara even though I don't wear it everyday. I find it is too bold and tend to wear it only when I'm going out in the evening.
My hair is pretty straight, and its biggest fault is that it's a bit frizzy if I don't use my straightener. Just like my makeup routine, my hair routine is also pretty simple.
Hair Mask (which I can't find a link for) - I use this every week or so. It does make my hair feel nice but mostly I use it because I like the smell.
Smoothing Oil (which is also too old for a link now) - I use this to make my hair extra smooth and tame those frizzles.
Leave-in Conditioner - I can spray this in whether I am using my hair dryer or if I'm letting it air dry.
Dry Shampoo - I wash my hair every other day or so, but when I need to stretch it another day, I like this dry shampoo.
Most of the things I buy are from recommendations from friends or other bloggers, so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else likes to use!
I have no recommendations for you but I forgot that I did use a leave in conditioner for a few months. Then I forgot about it because Rachel took it to her room. Her hair and make up routine is definitely more involved than mine! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI like CC cream but it's expensive!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have any recommendations for you either! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI get confused between CC cream and BB cream! I'm using tinted moituriser at the moment but after it runs out I'm going to investigate other options. I know all about trying to tame frizzy hair!! Haha.
ReplyDeleteAhh! I do like a good eye concealer, I always have dark circles under my eyes. I couldn't be without dry shampoo, it really helps the colour last on my hair as I don't have to wash it as much.
ReplyDeletesmells are a big deal for me. If it sticks or gives me a headache it is a no even if it is an amazing product
ReplyDeleteI can't live without under eye concealer. haha
