This weekend was the first one to feel like spring. I love this time of year. Both days were beautiful and the boys were keen to wear shorts!
E brought a couple of friends home with him after school on Friday so we ended up ordering pizza for them. You can see Dave's and my jerk chicken leftovers in the background that we ate instead.
After I drove E's friends home we all settled in to watch a National Geographic show. Everyone was feeling a bit sick so I made hot lemon drinks for everyone (although Q preferred orange juice instead).
We watched the recorded Japan FI Quali in the morning. Then we started doing some cleaning. We headed out after lunch to take Q to a birthday party and the rest of us did some errands. We picked up some new baseball stuff for E and new golf shoes for me.
Then a stop for a treat. My drink matched my sunglasses.
After we picked up Q we all went to IKEA and picked out desk chairs for all. Q had to pick up a new stuffy each time he saw a bin, and I had to keep saying no stuffies!
Waiting for a couple of our items and then to load the car.
On Sunday we watched the F1 race and then I took Q to church. E had a golf simulator time booked with friends so he went there instead. Meanwhile Dave cleaned all of the windows in the house, inside and out. They look so nice!
Q was supposed to go to another birthday party but it was cancelled because the birthday boy was sick. So that meant I didn't need to drive him anywhere and could accompany Dave to his golf simulator session. We played a Tiger Woods golf course and both did well! And I got to wear my new golf shoes.
The kids stayed home and played outside with the neighbours.
Have a great rest of your week.
Wasn't this weekend absolutely glorious?!?!?!? I LOVED it!!! And Rachel ended up getting the big moose when we went to IKEA last spring. She named it "Moose En Large" and I really wish we had said "no" to it. It's so big!
