Friday Favourites

We celebrated Q's birthday on Tuesday and we had lots of fun.

Relaxing in his new beanbag chair.

Birthday tacos!

He took a bite out of the side before we could cut it!

The kids wore their orange shirts on Wednesday for Orange Shirt Day, in recognition of the Indigenous children taken to residential school.  I saw a post that reminded me (and so I posted it on my Stories) that we must also remember that Indigenous people make up a disproportionate share of the prison population and foster care system in Canada. Every child matters.

Enjoying my corner office, it's a lot quieter now that the kids are back at school.

We popped down to the river after school yesterday to see the salmon jumping.

The colours!!

Dave and I celebrated his successful year end at work with lunch on Thursday. I even wore real clothes and flat ironed my hair.

Linking up with Andrea and Erika.
