International Women's Day was on Tuesday. It's a good opportunity to celebrate choices that women get to make. Staying at home or working, having 5 children or having no children, changing your name or keeping your maiden name, etc. We are lucky to have lots of choices. I posted about International Women's Day last year here.
Last night my office had its annual bowling night. I had high hopes for my performance, but it was less than stellar. We had a good time though.
We have been enjoying the Brier this weekend (Canadian Men's curling championship for those of you who don't know). The field is strong this year and all of the games I saw were very good. HUUUUUURRRRYYYYY!! HAAAAAARRRD!
I know I promised this would not become a Justin Trudeau fan club, and I think I've done pretty well with that, but this week the Trudeaus are in Washington for meeting and dinner with the Obamas. This is kind of a big deal, and I always enjoy seeing Canada on the world stage. They both looked great at the dinner (along with the Obamas of course).
I wrote about my favourite town earlier this week, my hometown Shelburne, Nova Scotia.
Enjoy your weekend!
Love the quote!! And my bowling is off and on too! What a beautiful pic of Nova Scotia!
