On Friday afternoon I left work a little early so I could get ready for dinner. Dave and I were meeting some friends for dinner. We had a very delicious meal at Bent. This is a Susur Lee place, it's on Dundas West. It had a great atmosphere and better food. I would highly recommend it.
The next morning we got up at our usual Saturday time to get ready for E's last ski lesson of the season. He has really improved and he enjoyed himself each week. We are excited to sign up again next year. We gathered at the end of the lesson time to see the parade (all of the classes taking turn going down the hill); E's group went through hoops. It turns out the video I thought I was taking was only 2 second, 1 second being my mitten. Oops.
We were all pretty tired when we got home and so Dave and I sort of crashed on the couch while E watched The Incredibles.
The next day, E got ready for a birthday party by donning his super hero costume. Here he is as Captain America.
After the birthday party, he and I walked to get a coffee and check out a couple of playgrounds. The weather was beautiful - spring jackets and sneakers!
His shoes are off so he could climb up the slide with better grip. Then he realized the ground was still pretty cold so he put them back on.
Cookie break!
Then we watched the Raptors game, and made some hot wheels tracks.
After E went to bed, I quickly watched the Oscars Red Carpet stuff before the big show started at 8:30. I loved every moment.
