E wrapped up the last of his summer camps this week. Week 1 he went to a theatre camp with a couple of friends. This one was only okay for him. He definitely had fun and they did good stuff but he prefers a sports themed camp where they are outside most of the day. Weeks 2 and 3 he went to Humriva Camp, run by the City of Toronto. Week 4 was a Jack of Sports Golf Camp with a few friends. Week 5 we were away. Week 6 he did a Wacky Sports Camp run by the YMCA, and Week 7 he was at an Adventure Camp, again with a friend. He was worn out by the end of each day so I would say it was a successful summer of camps.
It was a beautiful night watching E's soccer game on Wednesday night.
We are watching this series on Netflix - The Staircase. It's very similar to Making A Murderer, here we follow a murder trial of a man accused of killing his wife; she was found dead at the bottom of the stairs. I am always fascinated by shows like this. There is even a shout out to the Clayton Johnson case from my hometown, they mention him by name in the trial. (For those who know what I'm talking about.)
I talked about some books I just read on Thursday, including a very good one about World War II.
I picked up a few things at Sephora this week, including this toner that was recommended by Erika. I love the Fresh products and I am in need of a toner so I decided to try this one. It smells divine!
This post was light on Q pictures so here is one from my Day in the Life Post. I find I go back and forth, some weeks I have more picture of E, and others more pictures of Q. I suppose it all evens out in the end.
and The Blended Blog for Friday Loves.
Yes, rose extracts would smell divine in that toner! Enjoy all the pictures of the boys! 💕
