Let's Look - Favourites from High School and University

I missed the link up last week but this was a fun topic so I still wanted to post about it.  This month we were talking about some of our favourite things in high school.

I wrote about my high school experience here (and you can see more glorious pictures there). I grew up in a small town. My high school was one building for Grades 7 to 12.  My graduating class had 60 people in it so that gives you an idea of the size of the school.  I entered Grade 7 in 1993 and graduated in 1999.   High school was six years so I obviously had many favourites over that time, but these are the ones that stick out.

TV Shows - Dawson's Creek, Felicity, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Saved by the Bell, General Hospital

Magazines - Seventeen, YM, In Style

Snack - Pepsi and Plain Lays

Movies - Clueless, Dazed and Confused, Titanic, Empire Records

Books - Gone with the Wind, Kit Pearson's War Trilogy

Clothing - Northern Reflections coloured jeans, Nike tear-away pants, rings on every finger

Music - Country (Garth, Reba, Brooks and Dunn) and Hip Hop (KC and Jo Jo, Boyz II Men) and Pop (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys).  I also owned a lot of movie soundtracks in my music collection, I liked the mix of songs.  And don't forget about Big Shiny Tunes and the Now albums!

After School Plans - Either walking home and watching General Hospital at 4:00, or staying at school to work at the canteen for the basketball games.

Friday Night Plans - Watching the Much Music Countdown at 6:00 before going to the movies or the school dance.

School Subject - Gym and English

Nail Polish Colour - Blue or Green

Photos in my locker - Pacey (fine, Joshua Jackson), Andrew Keegan, David Boreanaz, Leonardo Dicaprio, Freddie Prinze Jr.
