Friday Favourites

The Hampton Inn in Timmins welcomed me for a few nights this week.  It is a great hotel with a free breakfast (and a pool) and very comfortable.  You can see the big snow bank behind me, although you can't really tell how much snow there is.  They have run out out of places to put the snow!

While I was gone, this was the gang getting ready for school.  You'll note E's pink shirt that he wore for Pink Shirt Day.

Big snowstorm for Toronto on Wednesday while I was gone, the boys had fun playing in it after school.

I had Indian takeout on Wednesday night in Timmins and it was so good. This is a local spot and very popular.  My only complaint is that it was way too much food and then I kind of felt sick from stuffing myself. 

The talk of the country this week was Jody Wilson-Raybould's testimony at the Justice Committee this week. You can read her full statement here.  I love listening to intelligent people speak, and she is definitely one of those.  It will be interesting to see how this all plays out - Chrystia Freeland for Prime Minister anyone?
