Friday Favourites

Happy Friday.  Summer is really chugging along here and we are trying to soak up every minute.  

I biked to work on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and I loved it.  It was so nice to be out early and doing something active.  The views of Toronto are nothing to slouch at either.  I wore gym clothes and then changed when I got to work, easy peasy.

Dave got this photo of this cutie eating his breakfast the other day. 

On Wednesday night, Dave got the pool blown up and the kids played for a bit after supper.  The kiddie pool is the great equalizer because both kids can easily play in it and no one minds getting wet.  

I posted about how we do camping yesterday.  We are going to Arrowhead this weekend for camping trip number 2. 

I shared some photos of our backyard on Tuesday.  I love having a comfortable spot to sit, and although we are constantly moving cushions out of the rain, and dealing with various tree droppings (seriously, the oaks and maples are on a rotating cycle of dropping something), it is a pleasant spot to be.  We get lots of bird visitors (including a robin's nest in the tree above the table), and of course squirrels, raccoons, and the odd skunk.
